Excavator Miroslav Vuković was found guilty before the Basic Court in Cetinje and sentenced to four months in prison for damaging several passenger and freight vehicles on September 5, 2021, while operating an excavator from the company "Car Invest", while breaking down a barricade set up by citizens at the Adžića curve.
This is the result of proceedings that were conducted against him for three years, and the decision was made by judge Tanja Vidić, reports Cetinjski list.
Vuković previously denied guilt, explaining that he received a verbal order from Marko Bata Carević, the owner of the company where he has been employed for years, to prepare a machine, a so-called loading shovel, which would unblock the Budva-Cetinje road.
The court rejected his defense, and Judge Vidić stated that "in the specific case, it was determined that it was an arbitrary removal of someone else's vehicles with an excavator."
The explanation states that an order does not absolve of guilt if it is obviously unlawful, which has been established in this case because a lawful order can only be issued by a state body to its services, and not by any means to a business company, and that too orally.
The total damage according to the indictment is 7.925,23 euros.
