Targeted controls of facilities and operationally interesting persons (OIL) were carried out in Kotor and Tivat yesterday, and the competent inspections sanctioned several catering establishments with over 6.000 euros, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.

"Yesterday, officers of the Regional Security Center 'South', in cooperation with officers of the Republic Labor Inspectorate, Tourism and Sanitary Inspectorate, carried out targeted planned activities aimed at controlling the operations of catering facilities, as well as controlling operationally interesting persons and their stay in catering facilities, with an emphasis on finding and seizing prohibited items and illegal substances," the statement said.

The Police Department added that on this occasion, increased control and inspection of guests in catering establishments in Kotor and Tivat, at the locations of Opatovo, Obala Đuraševići, Prčanj, Perast, Sveti Stasije and Dobrota, was carried out.

"Police officers from the Tivat Security Department carried out an intensified control of catering establishments, with an emphasis on the control of operationally interesting persons and members of organized crime groups. On that occasion, operationally interesting persons (OIL) RS, DJ and Đ.S, as well as IM from Cetinje, who was accompanied by NJ from Tivat, were controlled in two establishments.
