A man from Nikšić was sent to Spuž for a collision that killed a motorcyclist.

The investigating judge of the Kotor Basic Court, Špiro Pavićević, ordered the detention of up to 30 days for FP (23), a resident of Nikšić, who is charged with a serious criminal offense against the safety of public transport.

This was confirmed to "Vijesti" by the spokesperson for the basic court, judge Veljko Bulatović, stating that the defendant has already been sent to serve his sentence.

Judge Pavićević heard FP, in the presence of his defense attorney, accepted the prosecution's proposal and ordered detention.

FP is accused of causing a traffic accident in which one person died.

As a reminder, Budva resident Nebojša Rajković (57) died two hours after midnight in an accident that occurred on the Bečići boulevard the night before last.

The traffic accident occurred on the Adriatic Road in Bečići, near the Post Office, involving motorcyclist Rajković with a motorcycle, FP (23) from Nikšić who was driving an Audi, and ML (36) from Nikšić who was driving a Skoda BD TX 120 taxi.

The motorcyclist died at the scene.

The traffic accident occurred, as reported to Vijesti, when the driver of the FP Audi was turning from Sremskog Fronta Street onto Jadranski Put with the intention of turning left, and on that occasion he collided with a motorcycle, which was moving from the direction of Bečići towards Budva.

After the contact and the motorcyclist falling onto the roadway, the taxi driver, who was also traveling from the direction of Bečići towards Budva, drove his Škoda over the motorcyclist's body and stopped.
