During the shooting in Podgorica, the ricochet of the bullet also grazed a bystander

The ricochet of a bullet during last night's shooting and murder of Ivan Milačić in the garden of the "Taormina" cafe in Podgorica also grazed a girl who was walking on the sidewalk of 10 July Street in Podgorica 13 minutes before midnight.

A passerby was grazed by a ricochet and suffered a burn on her body, and the doctors at the Clinical Center characterized the injury as minor physical injuries, which did not require hospital treatment.

During the shooting in the bar's garden, Milačić's friend, Strahinja Raonić, who was sitting at the same table in the cafe with him and three other young men last night, was also wounded.

Due to a head injury, Raonic is being treated at the Clinical Center in Podgorica, and his injuries are not life-threatening.

The police, a day after another murder, which is linked to a clan war, announced that they are "undertaking extensive, intensive, synchronized activities in cooperation and on the orders of the prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica."

At 11.50:500 last night, an armed killer ran into the garden of the "Taormina" bar, located on Svetozara Markovića Street, just XNUMX meters from the building and headquarters of the Police Directorate, where he fired a large number of bullets.

The police are still determining whether Milačić was the real target or whether the young man, who was sitting with him in the cafe last night and did not sustain any injuries, should also have been killed.

"We still don't know whether Milačič was actually the target or one of the young men who were with him. It could have been any of them at that table, because they are all listed as persons of interest to security in our records," said Vijesti's interlocutor from the Police Directorate.

The police statement also states that according to operational data, the murder "is linked to the activities of organized criminal groups."

This is the second murder in Podgorica in the past seven days, and a young man from Cetinje was also killed in Barcelona, who has also been linked to a criminal clan from Montenegro for years.

The Police Directorate emphasized that, according to operational data, last night's murder of Milačić was a consequence "which is linked to the activities of organized criminal groups."

Ivan Milačić, who was murdered in February this year, was sentenced to three years in prison because during the proceedings it was determined that he played a role in the murder of Saša Klikovac, who was killed exactly five years ago, on July 18, 2020, in front of the "Kod Crnogorca" restaurant in Zeta.

Milačić was convicted in the first instance of the continued criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons and explosives, and the SDT indictment charged him with being in charge of monitoring the victim and purchasing equipment, masks and weapons...

According to the SDT indictment, this criminal organization was formed by the now deceased Alan Kožar from Skalja, on whose orders the defendants Marko Šuković and Miloš Marković killed Klikovac.

Šuković and Marković were sentenced to a total of 27 years in prison by the first-instance verdict.

Igor Nedović was killed in front of his family house in Stara Varoš, on July 16th of this year, in broad daylight.

Two days later, the police announced that they had solved the murder, and that they suspect Arjan Rečković, who has been on the run since May of this year, of committing the crime.

Rečković is also suspected of having wounded Nedović with three bullets in the stomach two months earlier, in a bar in the City Quarter.

Since then, all trace of him has been lost, although the police managed to find evidence that he shot a young man in May.

Numerous individuals associated with criminal clans and murders have been released due to court decisions because they were unable to even issue first-instance verdicts within three years.
