The former director of the Public Company "Water Supply and Sewerage" in Rožaje, Senad Mujević, was today ordered to be detained for up to a month on suspicion of having obtained illegal material gain in the amount of around 160 thousand euros.
Mujević was remanded in custody by the High Court in Bijelo Polje.
He was remanded in custody due to the risk of flight and influencing witnesses.
Mujević was arrested yesterday.
Mujević was removed from his position as head of the Rožaje-based company "Vodovod i kanalizacija" (Water Supply and Sewerage) a few months ago, after workers announced a strike over months of salary delays. At the time, the public was already expressing doubts about the way the company's finances were being managed.
