Serbian citizen PS (69) succumbed to injuries sustained in an accident that occurred at around 13.25:XNUMX p.m. on the Adriatic Highway in the town of Blizikuće.
This was confirmed to "Vijesta" by the police.
Namely, PS was driving a "Suzuki" vehicle, registration number BG 2635 NV, when it collided with a Mercedes driven by ZS (49) from Serbia.
"The accident occurred when the driver of the Suzuki was driving from Petrovac towards Budva and at one point, according to eyewitnesses, he began overtaking a convoy of vehicles, after which he came into direct contact with a Mercedes vehicle traveling from Budva. Traffic was disrupted on the section from the moment the accident occurred until 13:40 p.m., after which the police established alternating traffic flow," Vijesti was told.
A seriously injured Serbian citizen was pulled from the crashed SUV by members of the Budva Protection and Rescue Service, who was then taken over by the Budva Ambulance team and transported to the Bar Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The duty prosecutor from Kotor is conducting an on-site investigation.
