The police have filed a criminal complaint against DJ (20) from Plav on suspicion that he committed forest theft in the Prokletije National Park (NP) zone by cutting down four trees with a gross mass of 6.318 cubic meters, loading them onto his truck and transporting them to his garage, thus obtaining unlawful material gain for himself.
This was announced today by the Police Administration (UP).
The statement added that criminal charges have also been filed against NV, also from Plav, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of abuse of official position.
"NV is suspected of committing the criminal offense he is charged with by using his official position as a cadastral officer, changing the area of the plot previously allocated to him by the Commission for the Allocation of Urban and Construction Land of the Plav Municipal Assembly, using such a false public document as a real one, entering into the registration procedure, intending to obtain an unlawful material benefit in the amount of approximately 28.000 euros," the UP statement reads.
