In intensified activities in Petnjica and Mojkovac, the police seized five weapons and over 100 rounds of ammunition.
As announced by the Police Directorate, during a search of the family home and outbuildings used by J.Š. (54) in the village of Dobrodole, in Petnjica, the police found two pistols and a hunting carbine, as well as 92 rounds of ammunition.
"The prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Berane was informed of the incident and ordered that the seized weapon be sent for expert examination to the Forensic Center of the Police Directorate, while J.Š. was deprived of liberty on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives," the police announced.
The police in Mojkovac searched the house used by PP in the town of Polja.
"He was previously deprived of his liberty on suspicion of committing the crime of domestic violence or family violence, to the detriment of his brother. A pistol and a hunting rifle, as well as 25 rounds of ammunition of various types and calibers, were found and seized from PP. The competent prosecutor has been informed about this incident, who will subsequently carry out the legal qualification of the act," it was announced.
