A criminal complaint has been filed against NR (34) from Herceg Novi on suspicion of committing a criminal offense - exploiting children for pornography.
"In continuation of the activities of officers of the Crime Prevention Sector - Group for Suppression of High-Tech Crime, in detecting and suppressing crimes in the field of high-tech crime, protecting children and minors from all forms of sexual exploitation, and identifying persons connected with the commission of crimes in this field, one person from Herceg Novi was processed by the prosecutor's office. Today, police officers, in cooperation with officers of the Herceg Novi Security Department, filed a criminal report with the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Herceg Novi against NR (34), a Montenegrin citizen, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of exploiting children for pornography," the Police Directorate announced.
"Namely, the available operational information and material evidence found on digital devices used by the person NR indicate a reasonable suspicion that the said person, over a longer period of time, continuously obtained and possessed photographs of pornographic content featuring minors, thereby, as is suspected, committing the criminal offense in question. The competent state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Herceg Novi was informed of the collected data and information, who ordered that criminal charges be filed against the person NR, in regular proceedings, due to the existence of reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense he is charged with," the statement reads.
