Members of the Beranac Skaljar clan, Haris Kočan and Goran Klačar, are suspected of attempting to murder Jovan Vujović in the Royal Capital in June 2023.
Kočan has been in prison in Supca for some time, and Klačar, a citizen of Serbia, is unavailable to Montenegrin authorities.
This was announced by the Police Directorate, stating that through activities to shed light on serious crimes against life and limb from the previous period, Police Directorate officers came to the conclusion that Kočan and Klačar committed the criminal offense of attempted murder by aiding and abetting to the detriment of the JV.
"It is suspected that HK and GK participated in the commission of the criminal offense of attempted murder by aiding and abetting to the detriment of JV, which occurred on June 27, 2023 in the morning hours in the town of Zagrablje, Cetinje municipality, and which, according to operational and intelligence data from the Police Directorate, is being treated as a consequence of a conflict between organized criminal groups. The suspect HK is currently in UIKS for other criminal offenses against life and limb, committed during 2023 and 2024 to the detriment of opposing members of organized criminal groups, while GK, a citizen of the Republic of Serbia, is currently unavailable to the competent authorities and is being intensively searched for," the police announced.
