The State Prosecutor's Office took over the case of Alma Ćosović's death.

The Higher State Prosecutor's Office (VDT) has taken over the case of the violent beating of Alma Ćosović (43), who died three days ago in the KCCG as a result of a brutal attack for which Dušan Ramić is suspected.

This was confirmed to the RTCG Portal by the representative of the State Prosecutor's Office, Lepa Medenica. An autopsy has been ordered.

The public learned about the case thanks to an announcement by the Women's Rights Center (CŽP), which stated that Ramić beat Ćosović in front of her minor child.

As her brother Demir Ćosović later stated, Ramić fled the scene after the attack, and Alma was only found 30 hours later, with serious injuries.

Her child with special needs was also found in the apartment, in a state of exhaustion.

The Police Directorate (PD) announced on June 11 that DR, a Serbian citizen, was arrested in Podgorica, and that he is charged with the criminal offense of violence in the family or family community resulting in serious bodily injury, in conjunction with the criminal offense of enabling the consumption of narcotic drugs, to the detriment of AV. A request has also been filed to initiate misdemeanor proceedings for neglecting the child of AV's partner, under Article 37 of the Law on Protection from Domestic Violence.

After Alma Ćosović, a mother of three, died from her injuries, the case was taken over by the Higher State Prosecutor's Office.
