Montenegrin citizen Ž.B., for whom the Interpol NCB Podgorica issued an international arrest warrant, was arrested in Belgrade.
As announced by the Police Directorate, he was wanted to serve a prison sentence of one year and two months for the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs, for which he was convicted by the Higher Court in Bijelo Polje.
Ž.B. was previously arrested in Serbia for the criminal offense of endangering security, which he committed on the territory of that country.
"After the official measures and actions taken and the exchange of data between the Interpol NCB Podgorica and the Interpol NCB Belgrade, which confirmed the identity of the person, the Third Basic Court in Belgrade ordered Ž.B. to be detained," the police announced.
