The police strongly condemn the attack on journalists and are taking urgent measures and actions to identify, locate and prosecute the persons who attacked photojournalists of "Vijesti" and "Pobjeda" Boris Pejović and Stevo Vasiljević today in Gornji Zaostr, the Police Directorate announced.
The police said that statements are being taken from the injured journalists, other journalists who were at the scene, and witnesses.

"The police are also undertaking other activities to establish all the facts in this event, in coordination with the competent Prosecutor's Office. At the same time, we inform the public that, if it is determined that there were omissions in the work of police officers, legally prescribed measures and actions will be applied to them, without exception. The Police Directorate will, after the first measures and actions taken to clarify all the circumstances of the event, inform the public about the results in a timely manner," the police statement said.
