Nikšić police arrested VV (40), who was found in possession of a hunting rifle and ammunition in illegal possession, after his ex-wife reported him for threatening her with death.
The Police Directorate (UP) announced that a woman reported to Nikšić police officers yesterday that her ex-husband VV sent her a message threatening her life and body.
The statement added that police officers were then sent to the location of VV's residence, where he was found and brought to the official premises of the Security Department (SB) in Nikšić.
"A search was carried out of the premises used by VV, where the police found and seized a hunting rifle and ammunition of various calibers, in illegal possession. The prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić was informed of the incident and stated that elements of the criminal offense of domestic violence or violence in a family community, as well as the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives, were found in VV's actions. VV was deprived of his liberty on his order," the UP statement reads.
