Detention of a woman suspected of violence against her common-law husband - she beat him and bit him while driving?

The Rožaje police, acting on the order of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in that city, arrested DP (47) from Serbia (Leskovac) for the criminal offense of domestic violence or violence in a family community.

After being questioned by the prosecutor's office, she was ordered to be detained for up to 72 hours.

"From the criminal report and the attached evidence, there is a reasonable suspicion that the suspect DP, on June 17.06.2025, XNUMX, in a passenger motor vehicle, on the road from Leskovac to Rožaje, caused injuries to her common-law husband AG from Bar, by repeatedly hitting him on the hands, squeezing his arms and the right side of his body, and at one point biting his right hand with her teeth, and then punching him in the head," the Rožaje ODT announced.
