A minor from Turkey was arrested at Podgorica Airport for forging a document.

Officers of the Border Police Sector, at the "Podgorica Airport" border crossing, arrested a minor from Turkey (17) suspected of forging a document.

He was checked upon boarding the Podgorica - London flight.

"On this occasion, the minor presented the border police officers with a travel document - a passport of the Republic of Turkey and a visa of the United Kingdom, the authenticity and correctness of which were suspected, and a detailed border control was carried out at the second border check line. On that occasion, it was determined that the printing of the visa serial number was done using an inappropriate technique, that the UV protection did not match the original, that the hologram did not have micro printing, which is the case with the original, that the background printing was done using an inappropriate technique and that a latent image simulation was performed," the Police Directorate announced.

They add that it has been determined that this is a total reproduction of the image.

"The prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica was informed of the incident and, after collecting information from the minor in the presence of a worker from the Podgorica Social Work Center and the inspector for juvenile delinquency of the Podgorica Security Department, ordered the seventeen-year-old to be deprived of his liberty on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of forging a document. Today, with a criminal report, he will be brought before the acting prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica for further jurisdiction," it was announced.
