Mojkovac residents Andrija Filipović and Milan Stošić allegedly stole two official cars of the Mojkovac Municipality the night before last, then returned one when they drove away, and the other crashed in an accident in Dromira.
According to official information, they initially stole a "Skoda" from the parking lot in front of the Mojkovac Protection and Rescue Service building, which was given to the Mojkovac Tourist Inspection for use, and when they drove away, they returned that official car and stole a "Ford" which was also given to the Protection and Rescue Service.
The Police Directorate (PD) told Vijesti that yesterday, in the morning, the coordinator of the Municipal Protection and Rescue Team reported that during the previous night, two unknown persons had taken a "Skoda", and then a "Ford"...
"The 'Skoda' vehicle was returned to the same parking space after use, while these individuals were involved in a traffic accident in the town of Dromira, Podgorica municipality, with a 'Ford' vehicle," the responses state.
The police have determined the circumstances of the incident, and the prosecutor's statement is awaited.
"Through a series of measures and actions taken to shed light on this event, police officers came to suspect that the persons who used the two vehicles without authorization, AF and MS, were both individuals from Mojkovac, who did not have any permit to use these vehicles, and were not employed in the above-mentioned services," explained the UP.
During the investigation, they claim, it was determined that Filipović was driving a municipal car while intoxicated, which is why he was arrested.
