Judge Branko Vujačić was elected president of the Minor Offences Court in Podgorica.

The Judicial Council (JC) made such a decision at its session on August 27, after following the legal procedure and in accordance with the order on the ranking list.

"After interviews with candidates Ivan Adamović, judge of the High Court in Bijelo Polje, Andrijan Bulatović, Mehmet Međedović and Vukajlo Smolović, judges of the Misdemeanor Court in Bijelo Polje, the Judicial Council has decided to elect Vukajlo Smolović as president of the Misdemeanor Court in Bijelo Polje," the SS statement reads.

During the evaluation, judge Vujačić and judge Ana Radulović were rated excellent.

The Judicial Council has determined the termination of the judicial office of Ana Stojanovski, judge of the Basic Court in Podgorica, at her personal request due to taking up another position.

A decision was made to publish an internal advertisement for filling one judge's position in the Basic Court in Podgorica, through the voluntary transfer of a judge to a court of the same jurisdiction and the same or lower level.

The Council decided on the objections to the decisions of the Ethics Commission by rejecting the objections as unfounded.

Note: In the first version of the text, it was announced that Judge Vujačić was the only one rated excellent, because the first announcement by the Judicial Council contained an unintentional error that was quickly corrected.
