Tivat police prosecuted six people in August for criminal offenses and seven for misdemeanor offenses, for theft, ammunition and drugs, the Police Directorate (UP) announced.
The police said that ZG (46) from Kotor was arrested for stealing a motorcycle.
"He stole a motorcycle from the injured party, which was found in his possession and returned to the owner," the statement said.
It is alleged that ON (37) from Italy was arrested for stealing a large amount of money from a boutique in Porto Montenegro in Tivat.
"A criminal report in regular proceedings was filed with the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor against PJ (46) from Tivat on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives," the police said.
They explained that a search of the apartment used by PJ found a gun frame with a piece of ammunition.
As announced, during activities to combat drug abuse, the Tivat police filed three criminal and seven misdemeanor charges against ten people for drug abuse in August.
"IJ is suspected of the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs and he has been arrested," the statement said.
It is added that criminal charges were filed in regular proceedings against LV (22) from Serbia and AR (22) from Podgorica, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of facilitating the consumption of narcotic drugs.
"During the search, a certain amount of marijuana was found on them," the police said.
They added that, during August, they also filed misdemeanor charges against seven people who were found with small amounts of cocaine and marijuana on seven occasions.
