Chief Special Prosecutor Vladimir Novović met with the Chief Prosecutor of the Special Prosecution Office for Organized Crime and Corruption of Albania (SPAK) Altin Dumani.
The SDT stated in a statement that the meeting, which was held at the Villa "Gorica", highlighted the "excellent cooperation between the two prosecutors' offices in the joint fight against transnational organized crime, especially in terms of detecting and prosecuting perpetrators of the criminal offenses of smuggling and selling narcotics."
"The heads of the prosecutor's offices specifically dedicated part of the meeting to cooperation and joint work on specific criminal cases in which mutual cooperation between the special prosecutor's offices of Montenegro and Albania is necessary for the purpose of criminal protection of society as a mutual interest," the Special State Prosecutor's Office said in a statement.
The meeting was also attended by Special Prosecutor Tanja Čolan Deretić, Chief of Staff of the GST Milan Dakić, Head of the Special Police Department Predrag Šuković, and SPAK Prosecutor Bledar Maksuti.
