Border police seized a BMW with German plates that the country is looking for.
At the Božaj border crossing, at the entrance to Montenegro, they checked the driver AB (33) from Albania.
"Through a detailed check, police officers determined that this vehicle was being sought internationally by the competent authorities of Germany, so it was seized and handed over for further jurisdiction to officers of the Podgorica Security Department," the Police Directorate announced.
Also, at the entrance to Montenegro, at the Sukobin crossing, the border police checked a "Volkswagen" with Podgorica plates driven by a Moldovan citizen, DA (26), who "presented to the police a driver's license whose authenticity was suspected."
"The prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Ulcinj was informed of the incident and ordered that a statement be collected from this person for the record, that the driver's license in question be temporarily confiscated and forwarded to the Forensic Center for expert examination, and that the offense will be qualified after that," the statement reads.
