The search for the body of a girl from Serbia who drowned yesterday near Cape Veslo on Luštica continued today.
A girl from Vrnjačka Banja drowned yesterday around 15pm while taking a photo with a friend on one of the rocks. At that moment, it is believed, she was pulled away by the rough sea and waves.
Police and diver teams spotted the girl's body floating at one point, but bad weather and waves prevented them from approaching. As a result, the operation continued this morning.

The Maritime Safety and Port Management Administration (UPSUL) told RTCG that this is an inaccessible terrain, the most difficult for a search in Montenegro, which is why a helicopter from the Ministry of Internal Affairs was deployed through OKC 112.
This morning, an extensive search operation was launched in Traste Bay, coordinated by UPSUL.
UPSUL said that at 10 a.m., RCUD Bijela divers boarded the SAR-1 boat and will search the underwater part. The Luštice Bay emergency response team is also supporting the search. UPSUL rescue scooters, drones and all available resources have also joined the search, they said.
