ODT: We will make a decision once the police determine who the people were who influenced the decision to stop the film screening.

The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica announced that a decision in the case filed regarding the interruption of the screening of the film "Roda" at the "Džada Film Fest" in Podgorica will be made once the police determine the identity of the persons who influenced the organizers' decision to interrupt the screening, and when those persons have been questioned.

They announced that, in the previous part of the proceedings, they had questioned the festival organizers as witnesses.

"At the same time, the Police Directorate was ordered to identify the persons who influenced the organizers' decision to cancel the screening. After the identities of these persons are determined and after their hearing, the prosecutor's office will make a decision, about which the public will be informed in a timely manner," the statement reads.

The screening of the film "Roda" on the street in the Podgorica neighborhood of Zabjelo was interrupted after a group of individuals protested that the film was in Albanian.

The film was then screened at the closing of the festival, but indoors, at the Montenegrin Cinematheque.
