Four people were seriously injured and three were slightly injured in an accident that occurred just after midnight in Nikšić.
Among the injured are minors, and three people are being held in the surgical and orthopedic departments of the Nikšić General Hospital, its director Zoran Mrkić told Television Vijesti.
The accident occurred on Partizanski put street when two cars collided - a "Golf" and an "Opel".
The driver of one of them left the scene after the accident and later contacted the police, prosecutor Vjera Mićunović, a spokesperson for the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić, told Television Vijesti.
Three people from the "Golf" suffered serious injuries, and two suffered minor injuries, while one person in the "Opel" was seriously injured and the other was slightly injured.
An on-site investigation was conducted and the case files were submitted to the Basic Prosecutor's Office for assessment and opinion, the police unofficially informed Television Vijesti.
