The Pljevlja police, acting on the order of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Pljevlja, filed a criminal complaint against Serbian citizen GM (57), who is suspected of giving a bribe, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
According to the statement, she is suspected of offering money to a police officer at the Border Police Station in Pljevlja in the early morning hours of July 17, during a border check at the Ranče border crossing, in order to avoid border control, by placing a 20 euro note in her travel document.
"The conducted border check determined that GM was transporting five citizens of the Republic of Serbia in a Renault passenger motor vehicle with Belgrade license plates for a fee, without a permit for the transport of passengers in road traffic," the UP statement reads.
