The Nikšić police confiscated an automatic rifle, a rifle with an optical sight, and a pistol, which were in illegal possession, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
The statement states that Nikšić police officers conducted searches at several locations.
"Acting on previously obtained court orders, police officers from the Nikšić Criminal Police Station searched the apartment and other premises used by N.Ć., as well as the family home and other facilities used by SK, and on that occasion found and seized an automatic rifle, a rifle with an optical sight, and a pistol from SK, in illegal possession," the statement said.
The UP added that the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić was notified of the incident, who will, after conducting expert examinations, make a statement on the qualification of the crime.
