The police have filed a criminal complaint against ZM (56), the owner of a company, on suspicion of illegally exploiting gravel in the town of Mitrovići in Zeta.
Also, the police filed a criminal complaint against DD from Mojkovac, who is suspected of forest theft in Bijelo Polje.
"Officers of the Podgorica Security Department, in cooperation with officers of the Water Inspectorate and in coordination and upon the order of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, filed a criminal complaint against one person on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unauthorized exploitation of gravel and damage during the exploitation of river sediment. Namely, acting on operational information, police officers, based on the official measures and actions taken and the collection of information from several persons, came to the suspicion that ZM (56), owner of the company 'Z', committed the aforementioned criminal offense near the Morača riverbed in the town of Mitrovići in Zeta," the Police Directorate announced.
The water inspector drew up a report on the inspection, while police officers, on the orders of the acting state prosecutor, stamped a construction machine (loading shovel) suspected of being used in the commission of the crime.
"Also, police officers in Bijelo Polje have filed a criminal complaint with the competent state prosecutor's office against DD from Mojkovac on suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of forest theft to the detriment of the Forest and Hunting Management Administration, by cutting down beech trees in a state forest in the municipality of Bijelo Polje, without the necessary documentation," the statement reads.
