During a search of the apartment and premises used by the MP from Bijelo Polje, the police found and seized a pistol, a rifle, and ammunition of various calibers.
The items in question are a Zastava pistol, caliber 7.62 mm, 58 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition, a Zastava ARMS hunting rifle, model M75, caliber 16 mm with 12 rounds of ammunition.
The action was carried out with the aim of suppressing the illegal possession of weapons, and in accordance with the Law on Weapons, appropriate proceedings will be initiated against MP before the competent authority with the aim of permanently confiscating the weapons, the police said.
