Police announced that they have arrested a suspect for aiding and abetting the murders of Stefan Belada and Andrija Ivanović.
The Police Directorate announced that due to the interests of the investigation, they cannot disclose further details.
"The first results of the investigation and implementation of police and prosecutorial activities related to the clarification of the criminal offense of aggravated murder committed on September 24, 2025, in the territory of the Cetinje municipality, on the Budva-Cetinje road, in the town of Ugnji, when Stefan Belada and Andrija Ivanović were deprived of their lives, resulted in the deprivation of liberty and the prosecution of one person on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of aggravated murder committed by aiding and abetting," the police announced.
Belada and Ivanovic were alleged members of the Skaljar clan.
Belada was the target of an attack in early September when assailants fired several shots at him from a motorcycle on the Cetinje-Budva highway in the town of Brajići. Belada was riding a motorcycle with Tamara Stanojević (24), who was seriously wounded in the attack.
