The Misdemeanor Court sentenced JJ to 30 days in prison for driving under the influence of alcohol, Judge Ana Bokan told "Vijesti".
"The Minor Offences Court in Podgorica, Danilovgrad Department, sentenced the defendant JJ to 30 days in prison for committing a misdemeanor under Article 317a, paragraph 1, item 3, in connection with Article 182 of the Road Traffic Safety Law. On October 8, in a part of the Danilovgrad municipality, the defendant participated in traffic under the influence of alcohol in his body with a concentration of 2,37g/kg, which was determined by appropriate testing by police officers," said Bokan.
By the same decision, JJ was given three penalty points and a protective measure of a ban on driving a category 'B' motor vehicle for a period of four months:
"And all in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Safety Act and the provisions of the Misdemeanors Act regarding the type and amount of punishment, and according to previously determined mitigating and aggravating circumstances on the defendant's side," said Bokan.
