After a hearing at the Special State Prosecutor's Office, the owner of the construction company "Master Inženjering", Vladan Ivanović, was ordered to be detained for up to 72 hours.

The SDT announced that Ivanovic presented his defense before the prosecutor and answered questions.

He was arrested this morning on the orders of the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT).

Ivanovic was arrested by officers of the Special Police Department (SPO), as part of a new investigation opened by the SDT.

Ivanovic is, as officially announced by the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT), suspected of money laundering.

"By order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office, the Special Police Department in Podgorica is carrying out urgent evidentiary actions against natural and legal persons and actions to deprive natural persons of their liberty, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they have committed the criminal offense of money laundering," the SDT statement published on the prosecutor's office's website states.

Pursuant to a search warrant issued by the investigating judge of the Higher Court in Podgorica, Goran Šćepanović, SPO officers searched the so-called "nobody's house" in the elite Podgorica neighborhood of Gorica, owned by Vladan Ivanović, on June 12th of last year, during reconnaissance operations.

The search was then carried out as part of an investigation against the company "Master Inženjering" and the case surrounding "no one's house".

"The house is not finished and therefore not registered. It has not even been moved in. There is no furniture in it, only installations. It is secured by night guards. When it is finished, it will be registered. I think Ivanovic built that house for the market," his lawyer Zoran Piperović said at the time.

A week before the house search, Chief Special Prosecutor Vladimir Novović announced on the show "Načisto" on Television Vijesti that a special case had been formed regarding "nobody's house" and that certain actions had already been taken.
