The Podgorica police have solved several thefts, for which six people have been prosecuted, the Police Directorate announced.
The police said that officers from the Podgorica Security Department solved seven criminal offenses in the area of property crime.
They stated that E. Š. (38) from Podgorica will be held responsible for the criminal offense of theft in conjunction with the criminal offense of forgery and misuse of credit cards and cards for non-cash payment.
"He stole a wallet containing money, personal documents and a bank card from a person walking down the street in the Podgorica neighborhood of Konik, which he later misused," the statement said.
It is stated that E. Š. was arrested and that, in addition, he is charged with two criminal offenses of theft against two people from whom he stole money and a tablet, for which criminal charges will be filed against him in regular proceedings.
It is added that RK and three minors aged 16 and 17 will be held responsible for the crime of robbery.
Police said that these individuals stole a mobile phone from a foreign citizen, which was found and returned to the owner.
They stated that BR (42) was arrested for three thefts against a retail store.
"He is suspected of stealing construction tools from this facility on three occasions," the statement said.
