Police in the area of Žabljak and Šavnik are conducting increased checks on members of organized crime groups and persons of operational interest, Vijesti was told unofficially by the Police Directorate.
According to the same information, the measures are being taken as part of regular preventive and proactive activities aimed at suppressing the activities of criminal structures and strengthening the security situation in the north of the country.
According to information from Vijesti, police officers are present at several locations in Šavnik and Žabljak tonight, where they are controlling traffic participants and checking those who are of security interest according to police records.
