Sentenced to 15 days in prison for drunk driving

SV received a 15-day prison sentence for driving under the influence of alcohol, the Podgorica Minor Offences Court, Danilovgrad Department announced.

Namely, on 10.10.2025, in a part of the municipality of Danilovgrad, the defendant participated in public transport under the influence of alcohol in the body at a concentration of 1,79 g/kg, which was determined by appropriate testing by authorized police officers. By the same decision, the defendant was imposed 3 penalty points and a protective measure - a ban on driving a 'B' category motor vehicle for a period of 3 months, all in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Road Traffic Safety, and the provisions of the Law on Misdemeanors regarding the determination of the type and amount of the penalty, and according to the previously established mitigating and aggravating circumstances on the part of the defendant", announced the spokesperson for the Misdemeanor Court, Judge Ana Bokan.
