Budva police have warned a fellow citizen allegedly close to the Skalja clan to be careful where he goes because he is again on the list of the opposing criminal organization to be shot, Vijesti was confirmed by several sources.

According to this information, police inspectors suggested that he, if possible, reduce his movements and remain hidden, in order to help himself first and then the security services.

The newspaper's interlocutor claims that during the same conversation a few days ago, police officers presented him with the complete situation and recommended that he report anything suspicious to them.

Vijesti was told that they allegedly told him that, according to their operational knowledge, the Kavač clan had hired hired killers to eliminate several people close to the Škaljari clan, and that he was a priority target.

The murder of this Budva resident, whose name is known to the editorial staff, has been attempted several times...

He is listed in police records as a person of interest and his name has been present in reports of criminal activities on the Montenegrin coast for years. Although he has denied it several times, he is considered part of the Skaljari criminal clan.

Can I protect myself?

The Police Directorate has not responded to the newspaper's questions for days - whether they are operationally monitoring potential victims in the ongoing mafia clashes and warning them of any information that their lives are in danger.

Vijesti requested answers from that institution after Igor Nedović, a resident of Kavča, was first wounded in the wider center of Podgorica in May, and then killed on his doorstep in mid-July.

A similar scenario occurred in the case of Stefan Milo Belada, a resident of Skalja - just 17 days after he dodged bullets on the Cetinje - Budva main road, he was killed on September 24, 2025, practically in the same place, together with Andrija Ivanović.

On this occasion, the editorial team asked the police whether, after the wounding of Nedović and Belada, they had taken measures to monitor and protect them...

"Did the police have operational knowledge that their lives could still be in danger after the first assassination attempts? If so, did you warn them about that? - What did the police specifically do after the first wounding of Nedović, and what after the attack on Belada? Do you believe that there were failures in the police's actions in these cases?" the questions were sent to the police, which remained unanswered.

Bloody series

The latest bloody series of criminal clashes erupted after Cetinje resident Filip Knežević, one of the key players in the Kavač clan, was murdered in Barcelona on July 15th of this year.

After that liquidation, five people were killed, according to investigators, who were close to the Skaljar gang - first, Ivan Milačić from Podgorica, on July 19 in the Preko Morača part of the city.

"Tonight, at about five minutes before midnight, a firearm was used on Svetozara Markovića Street in Podgorica, resulting in one person being killed and one person being injured. Police officers are taking urgent, comprehensive measures and actions in cooperation with the prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica in order to determine all the facts and circumstances of the incident, identify, locate and arrest the perpetrator, and shed light on the entire incident," the Police Directorate announced that evening, but no one has been arrested yet.

Then, on August 29, Radovan Krivokapić (44), known as Mesar, was liquidated in Kotor - he died in the local General Hospital from injuries sustained in a shooting in front of his family's house in the village of Zlatne njive.

"Tonight, at around 7:40 p.m., a firearm was used in the Zlatne njive neighborhood in Kotor. On that occasion, RK (44) from Kotor was injured, and he died as a result of his injuries at the Kotor General Hospital. Police officers from the Police Directorate - Regional Security Center 'South', in cooperation with the Crime Prevention Sector and in coordination with the competent state prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, are taking urgent measures and actions to determine all the circumstances and shed light on this criminal offense," the police announced.

No one was arrested for that crime either.

The lifeless bodies of Belada and Ivanovic were found on September 24th, in a car parked on a macadam extension of a local road in Cetinje.

The bodies were found shortly before 16 p.m., about 250 meters from the main road leading to the coast.

"In the area of the Royal Capital Cetinje, in the town of Ugnji, AI and SB were deprived of their lives by the use of firearms. Their lifeless bodies were found today at around 3:45 p.m. in a vehicle that was parked on the macadam extension of the local road, about 250 m from the main Cetinje-Budva road," the Police Directorate officially announced.

The police recently announced that they had prosecuted two people for the crime - one, whose initials were not disclosed, is wanted, while Predrag Mirotic ended up in custody. He had been acquitted in the first instance case of digging an underground tunnel and breaking into the depot of the Higher Court in Podgorica just a few days earlier.

Belad was shot at in early September while he was riding a motorcycle in Brajići. The attacker, also from a moving two-wheeler, fired shots at him, but hit his companion Tamara Stanojević (24) and seriously wounded her.

Two days later, Ivan Cvijović (40) from Budva was arrested on suspicion of aiding and abetting those who attempted to kill Belada on September 7. He is suspected of aggravated murder by aiding and abetting.

The Murder of Székloča

The last in that series was Boban Sjekloća from Cetinje - he was killed on October 5th around 18 pm.

The body of this high-ranking member of the Cetinje cell of the Škalja clan was found near Trsteno beach in a Golf car with wounds to the head.

Senior State Prosecutor Ana Radović told "Vijesti" that a certain number of shell casings were found during the investigation, and that she ordered an expert examination of the seized traces.

"The victim was identified as BS (33). During the investigation, a number of traces and shell casings were found, which will be examined at the Forensic Center," she said.

An interviewee for "Vijesti" close to the investigation said that the man was shot through the windshield.

"All available forces of the Police Directorate are currently operational to track down the murderer or several of them," the Police Directorate said unofficially at the time.

This thirty-year-old man had been on the run for years.

The Special State Prosecutor's Office accused him of smuggling half a ton of cocaine and participating in serious crimes, namely assisting in the liquidations of Andrija Gazivoda and Pero Muhadinović in 2020 in Cetinje.

Millions for revenge against Knežević?

The news was allegedly told by several sources that the leaders of the Kavač clan are sparing no money to avenge their friend Filip Knežević, who was killed in Barcelona.

Obituaries were given to this Cetinje native by all the important players in that criminal organization - from Zvicer, to Milan Vujotić, to Slobodan Kašćelan...

"Millions were allocated for the liquidation of numerous Skaljare people," claims one of the newspaper's interlocutors.

The police did not answer these questions either:

"Does the police have information that, after the murder of Filip Knežević in Barcelona, the leader of the Kavač clan ordered revenge, that is, to kill everyone who celebrated the liquidation of the Cetinje resident?" is one of the questions that remained unanswered.
