Podgorica: Sentenced to 15 days in prison, driving with more than 2,5 per mille of alcohol in his blood

The Podgorica Misdemeanor Court sentenced IS to 15 days in prison for driving with a blood alcohol level of more than 2,5 per mille on October 19th.

This was told to Vijesti by judge and spokesperson for that court, Ana Bokan.

IS was also given three penalty points and banned from driving a category B motor vehicle for four months.

"The Minor Offences Court in Podgorica sentenced the defendant IS to 15 days in prison for committing a misdemeanor under Article 317a, paragraph 1, item 3, in connection with Article 182 of the Law on Road Traffic Safety, namely because on October 19, 2025, he participated in public transport under the influence of alcohol in his body at a concentration of 2,52g/kg. By the same decision, the defendant was given 3 penalty points and a protective measure of a ban on driving a category B motor vehicle for 4 months," said Bokan.
