UP: There was an intrusion by about 40 "duke" who were hidden in the official premises of Sutjeska, four people were injured

The Nikšić police are taking intensive measures and actions to identify fans who invaded the football field and caused a conflict with fans of another club, in which two citizens and two police officers were injured, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.

"Namely, today, 25.10.2025, at 14.00, on the auxiliary field of FK 'Čelik' in Nikšić, a football match between FK 'Internacional' and FK 'Berane' began. At halftime, about 40 "Vojvoda" fans, who were hidden in the official premises of FK 'Sutjeska' at the main stadium, invaded. Fans of the 'Vojvoda' fan group headed towards the fans of the FK 'Berane' football club, throwing stones and other objects at them, thus disrupting public order and peace," the UP statement states.

So far, it is reported that two people have sought medical attention at the General Hospital in Nikšić due to minor injuries.

Police added that two police officers suffered minor injuries from shrapnel.

Responsible persons from FC "Sutjeska" were brought to the premises of the Nikšić Security Department, in connection with the circumstances of the hiding of "Vojvode" fans in the premises of this club.

"Police officers are taking intensive measures and actions to establish all the facts regarding this event. The police will conduct a detailed analysis, both in relation to the actions of the police officers and in relation to the actions of the persons who enabled the hiding of 'Vojvode' fans in the premises of FC 'Sutjeska', as well as the introduction of prohibited items by these persons into the stadium. Repressive measures and actions prescribed by law will be taken against the persons who caused the incident, in accordance with the qualification of this event that will follow," the statement concludes.

The MeridianBet Second Montenegrin Football League match between Internacional and Berane, which was played in Nikšić, was temporarily suspended due to incidents that occurred before the start of the second half.
