Podgorica police are determining who set fire to a car at the 'Zeren Motors' parking lot in Zabjelo last night around midnight.
The fire in the attack did not spread to other cars in the lot, owned by a Turkish citizen.
The spiral of violence and destruction of property belonging to Turkish citizens began last night in that neighborhood, after a young man, MJ, was stabbed in Zabjelo on Saturday evening.
Last night, police arrested Azerbaijani citizen YG (31) and Turkish citizen ND (54) in connection with the attack.
They are suspected of the criminal offense of violent behavior.
The statement from the Police Directorate states that 45 people - citizens of Turkey and Azerbaijan - were detained at the premises of the Podgorica Security Department last night and were subject to criminal processing, as well as checks regarding the legality of their stay on the territory of Montenegro.
The Police Directorate appealed to citizens to remain dignified, not to succumb to emotions or calls for lynching.
