Police in Kotor identified BM as the person who posted a message in English, expressing dissatisfaction with the presence of Turkish citizens in Montenegro, which was posted on a building in Kotor.
Turkish citizens, the owners of the facility, reported it to the police and handed over the paper with the inscription, the police said.
Information was collected from the BM regarding the given circumstances, and the event and the content of the collected information were reported to the prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor, who will subsequently make a statement on the possible legal qualification of the act.
"The Police Directorate once again appeals to the citizens of Montenegro to refrain from violence and messages of inappropriate content that disrupt harmony in society and raise tensions, and in particular to contribute to preserving mutual respect, tolerance and peace in the community. We emphasize once again that the Police Directorate will ensure and ensure peace and indiscriminately prosecute any illegal actions of irresponsible individuals," the police statement said.
