The Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Podgorica ordered the detention of two people for up to 72 hours due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of domestic violence or violence in a family community.
RN is suspected of sending several threatening and offensive messages to his common-law wife SA via mobile phone on November 7 in Podgorica, thus endangering her safety and causing a sense of fear and anxiety, the ODT announced.
"J.Đ. was detained on suspicion that on November 9, while intoxicated, he threatened his ex-wife via mobile phone, stating that he would kill her and her father with a knife, and that he would also hurt other people connected to the injured party," the Podgorica Public Prosecutor's Office announced.
