Podgorica police arrested IB (27), who is suspected of giving a bribe.
"IB (27) is suspected of the criminal offense of bribery. She committed this offense by leaving 500 euros in cash at the registration desk of the Podgorica Security Department, along with the documentation she was supposed to submit as part of the case in which she represents the injured party, all in an envelope bearing the name and surname of the acting police officer. After this police officer took over the envelope, he noticed that, in addition to the necessary documentation, namely the inventory list, it also contained 500 euros in cash," the Police Directorate announced.
The prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica qualified the crime as bribery, and on his order, IB was arrested.
She was brought before the prosecutor in charge within the legal deadline, along with a criminal report.
