The Prosecution is silent about Risančić and Gačević

The Pljevlja Basic State Prosecutor's Office has been hiding for more than ten days whether they asked the local court to extend the detention of the Tivat residents. Petar Gačević (19) and Miloš Risančić (22), arrested after they attacked and seriously injured at least two people in Žabljak, and then injured another person in an accident.

The questions were sent to that prosecutor's office on October 31, after "Vijesti" was unofficially told that Gačević and Risančić had been released to defend themselves from freedom.

The prosecution, however, refuses to confirm or deny this information.

"We inform you that in the case to which your questions relate, investigative actions necessary for the proper and complete determination of the facts are still being undertaken, including an expert medical report, as well as a hearing. Two men from Tivat were arrested in late September in the town at the foot of Durmitor, and on October 1, the investigating judge of the Basic Court in Pljevlja ordered them to be detained for up to 30 days.

Gačević is suspected of committing the criminal offense of violent behavior in conjunction with causing serious bodily harm, and Risančić is suspected of also committing the criminal offense of endangering public traffic.

The detention was ordered due to the risk of repeating the criminal offense and obstructing the proceedings by influencing witnesses, the president of the Basic Court in Pljevlja announced that day. Marina Jelovac.

Rampage in Žabljak

On Saturday, September 27th, residents of Tivat seriously injured a person in the parking lot of a supermarket. MR (34), who was beaten in front of his wife and one-year-old baby.

According to police data, both Tivat residents are listed in the files of the security services as persons of operational interest and perpetrators of criminal acts. Risančić is the son of a councilor in the Tivat Municipal Assembly and is close to the Kavač criminal clan.
