Podgorica police arrested three people suspected of robbery and theft.
MS (46) was arrested on suspicion of robbing a 93-year-old pensioner.
"It is suspected that on November 2, 2025, at around 9:00 p.m., in the Preko Morača part of the city, she approached this elderly person from behind and stole 15 euros from his shirt pocket, and on that occasion she tore part of his clothing and caused him minor injuries," the Police Directorate announced.
The suspect was brought to the Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Podgorica yesterday, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of robbery.
NT (34) was also arrested on suspicion of stealing two watches worth 155 euros from a store in Zabjelo on November 11th.
He will be brought to the ODT with a criminal complaint.
Police also arrested BC (21), who is suspected of stealing five pieces of tools from a construction site in the center of Podgorica - three drills, a grinder and a circular saw, which he then transported and sold.
The suspect was brought to the ODT yesterday, along with a criminal complaint.
"Officers of the Criminal Police Station for Suppression of Property Crime of the Podgorica Security Department have, out of 366 criminal offenses registered since the beginning of this year, so far solved 98,4 percent, or 360 of these criminal offenses," the statement reads.
