The Berane police have filed criminal charges against two people for building a structure without documentation in the Biogradska Gora National Park (NP), and illegally occupying land in the Dolac settlement, the Police Directorate announced today.
The statement states that officers of the Economic Crime Suppression Unit of the Criminal Police Station of the Berane Security Department, in cooperation with the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Berane, filed criminal charges against two individuals for criminal offenses in the field of economic crime.
"Namely, a criminal complaint has been filed against AJ from Berane, who is suspected of the criminal offense of building a structure without a construction application and documentation. He committed the criminal offense he is charged with by building a weekend house in the Biogradska gora National Park, Šiška Mountain, in June 2021," the statement states.
In addition, a criminal complaint was filed against the DO, who is charged with the criminal offense of illegal occupation of land.
"She occupied part of a local road in the Dolac settlement in Berane, where she built a concrete fence and expanded the yard of her family house onto the local road, thereby changing the width of this road. Criminal charges have been filed against these individuals with the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Berane in regular proceedings," the statement reads.
