Criminal charges will be filed against EV (33) from Bijelo Polje because the border police found a rifle and ammunition on him yesterday without proper documentation, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
"Police officers from the Regional Border Police Center "North" - Border Police Station Bijelo Polje yesterday, in the town of Sipanje, checked the person EV (33) from Bijelo Polje. During the search, a Browning rifle and 12 pieces of associated ammunition were found and seized from him, without proper documentation," the statement said.
The police added that after the measures and actions taken, the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Bijelo Polje was informed of the case, who ordered that criminal charges be filed against EV on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives.
