Indictment confirmed against accused in murders of Roganović and Kaluđerović

The extra-judicial panel of the Higher Court in Podgorica confirmed the indictment filed by the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica against the defendant Nikola Drecun, charged with the criminal offense of "aggravated murder" of Dragan Roganović and Petar Kaluđerović in Cetinje.

The Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica has filed an indictment against Nikola Drecun (32), who is suspected of the murder of Dragan Roganović (36) and Petar Kaluđerović (20) in Cetinje on June 20, 2024. Their friends and fellow citizens Tanasije Taso Jovanović and Mihailo Borozan, as well as a passerby, Desanka Vujović, were seriously injured in the bombing. In November last year, Interpol issued a red notice for Drecun.

"The Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, after conducting an investigation, filed an indictment against the person N. D., who, together with currently unidentified persons, committed the criminal offense of aggravated murder and the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons and explosives, by placing a previously made explosive device on a tree in Cetinje near the Waterworks building and the sports center, which was activated on June 20, 2024, during which two persons, DR and PK, were killed, while three persons, MB, TJ and DV, suffered serious bodily injuries," the prosecutor's office announced earlier.
