Police have identified three minors suspected of robbing a church in the Bijela Gora neighborhood of Ulcinj on November 19th.
The Police Directorate announced that these are three minors under the age of 14, which makes them criminally irresponsible, and that the competent prosecutor has been informed.
It was also reported that a small amount of money was taken from the church during the theft.
"Police officers went to the scene, where it was determined that unknown perpetrators had broken the glass on one of the windows of the entrance door of a religious building - an Orthodox church, entered the interior, ransacked the interior of the building, and stolen a small amount of money in coins. The state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Ulcinj was notified of the incident, who declared that it was a criminal offense of aggravated theft," the Police Directorate announced.
It is added that a misdemeanor charge under the Law on Protection from Domestic Violence will be filed against the parents of the three minors for neglect of their children.
"The police will also inform the Center for Social Work in Ulcinj about the event and circumstances," it was announced.
