Belarusian expelled from Montenegro, driving under the influence of cocaine and methamphetamine

Belarusian citizen AL (25) was sentenced to 15 days in prison, after which he will be expelled from Montenegro for one year.

This, as confirmed to "Vijesti", is the decision of the President of the Minor Offences Court in Budva, Judge Marko Đukanović, who heard the Belarusian defendant in an urgent procedure this morning.

He was stopped by the Budva police last night, around 20 pm, on Jadransko put, while he was driving.

He was tested for the presence of psychoactive substances in his body, and the test showed that the young man was driving under the influence of cocaine and methamphetamine.

He was arrested and charged with a violation of the Road Traffic Safety Act.

A protective measure of a ban on driving motor vehicles on the territory of Montenegro for a period of four months was also imposed.
