Klimović claims he does not remember spreading hatred

Aleksandar Klimović, a resident of Podgorica, claimed before Tivat police officers that he did not remember what he wrote on social media three years ago, claiming that he did not incite religious and national hatred.

He was summoned to the Tivat Security Department (SB) for posts on the former Twitter network, in a case filed in 2022 for inciting national and religious hatred and intolerance.

The Police Directorate (UP) unofficially told "Vijesti" that the statement was taken from him on the order of the acting prosecutor from the Higher State Prosecutor's Office (VDT) in Podgorica.

The same interlocutor said that the statement of the Podgorica resident, in which he claims that he allegedly does not remember that period, "because it was a long time ago", will be submitted to the State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica for a decision.

Klimović was also questioned in the investigation in which one of the leaders of the so-called "Grand Clan", Aleksandar Mijajlović, was arrested, after which it was determined that he was hiding behind a profile under the name "Radosav Vrbica", from which religious and national hatred was allegedly spread three years ago.

According to information from the UP, the case in which he gave a statement today was filed in 2022 following a report by citizens who were victims of religious national hatred and intolerance.
