Podgorica police searched the house and apartment of Stevan Radulović (24), who is close to an organized crime group, and found and confiscated three rifles, 20 rounds of ammunition, three rifle frames, a pistol case and handcuffs, the Police Directorate announced today.
As stated in the statement, Radulović was previously arrested on November 11 on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives, when a gun was found on him in a restaurant.
"During a search of the house used by this person in Komani, three rifles were found and seized, two of which were automatic, 20 rounds of ammunition of unknown caliber and three rifle frames, while a search of this person's apartment found a gun case with two gun frames and handcuffs," the statement said.
The police added that Radulović, who was banned from leaving his apartment by the Basic Court in Podgorica, was brought to the official premises of the Podgorica Security Department, where information was collected from him.
"The state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica was informed of the incident and ordered that appropriate expert assessments be conducted regarding the weapons and ammunition found, after which a statement will be made on the possible qualification of the crime," the UP statement reads.
